“Happy Sabbath”
The Sabbath begins not with a command, but with God’s own example.
Genesis 2:3 –
Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.
Remember
Exodus 20:8 –
Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
The Sabbath was made for us.
Mark 2:27 –
And He said to them,”The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.
A reminder that the Sabbath remains.
Hebrews 4:9-10 –
There remains therefore a rest for the people of God.
For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.
Father,
Thank You for our Sabbath. May our spirits be refreshed, and may we draw closer to Your presence.
