“When Nothing Else Matters”
Every generation has carried its own troubles, but Scripture tells us there will come a time when the world as we know it will pass away.
Jesus spoke plainly when He said, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.”
When everything temporary dissolves, only what is eternal will remain.
This is why the deepest cry of a believer’s heart is for others to know God, not as an idea, not as a tradition, but as the One who gives life meaning, direction, and hope.
Without God, nothing holds.
With God, even suffering becomes purposeful, and death becomes a doorway instead of an ending.
People chase meaning in relationships, careers, pleasure, politics, identity, and self‑improvement. But the human heart was created for Someone, not something. That’s why nothing satisfies us for long.
I once read, “Our hearts are restless until they rest in You.”
God is not hiding from the searching soul. He is drawing, whispering, knocking, stirring questions, unsettling false comforts, and awakening hunger.
The very ache people feel is often the first sign that God is near.
Scripture teaches that life is a vapor, brief, fragile, unpredictable.
Eternity is not a distant idea, it is the next breath after our last.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son Jesus so that no one would have to face that moment unprepared or alone.
To know God is to know Truth in a world of confusion. Peace in a world of fear.
Purpose in a world of distraction.
Hope in a world of decay and
Love in a world of betrayal.
Everything else fades.
God is not waiting for us to “get better.” God is inviting us to come as we are.
Jesus carried the weight of our sin, shame, and brokenness so that we could be reconciled to God.
Nothing else matters if we do not have God and every soul matters to God.
Oh, how God loves us ❤️
Dear Father in heaven,
You see every searching heart, those who feel lost, confused, empty, or afraid.
You know the ones we love, the ones we pray for, and the ones who cross our path without us even knowing their story.
Draw them to Yourself with a power they can not ignore. Break through the noise, the lies, the wounds, and the distractions. Let them see Your Son Jesus as the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
Open their eyes before this life passes, and anchor them in the hope that never fades.
Let Your mercy reach them, Your truth awaken them, and Your love transform them.
In Your Son’s precious name, Amen.
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is long-suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
Have a blessed day
God loves you ❤️
and so do I ❤️
