“God wants Today”
There are moments in life when we finally stop running, stop performing, stop trying to earn what God has already offered freely.
I read this on someones story, and this is so true.
So many people believe they must do something for God to heal them, restore them, bless them, or help them.
Yet the very moment our Father hears a repentant heart. The moment He sees genuine sorrow over sin. He is already near. Not distant. Not waiting for perfection. Not requiring rituals. But Personally present.
We live in a world full of religious motions.
People wear crosses, hang pictures of Jesus, attend church, sing worship, listen to Christian music, and even pray with others. Yet so few truly understand the simple, breathtaking truth.
“God loves us, right now, exactly where we are, and He desires to help us.”
Many of us are bound by religion, doubt, or disbelief because God’s love does not fit into our ideas or traditions. But God is not limited by our concepts. God’s mercy is not confined to our routines. God’s power is not restricted by our failures.
There comes a time when we must step into the quiet place – the “closet” that Jesus spoke of – and clear out the clutter of doubt, fear, and disbelief.
Take a moment to simply cry out,
“Father, God, I want to encounter You.”
Life offers excitement, thrills, and moments that feel unforgettable.
But nothing compares to the presence of God. Nothing compares to the moment when our God draws near and our heart knows it has found home.
So why do we keep putting it off?
Why do we say,
“He will not hear me… I have sinned too much… He will not help me… He left me because I have not been faithful… because I do not go to church enough… because I do not pray every day…”?
The truth is simple…
God has never left us.
It is we who drift, we who wander, we who grow cold.
Yet even still, as long as breath fills our lungs… He waits.Faithful. Merciful. And Forgiving.
He is our God. He is our Father.
He gave His only begotten Son so that whoever believes in Him would not perish but have everlasting life.
Today is the moment God is offering.
Not “when we get better.”
Not “when we feel worthy.”
If you have tasted God’s presence, your heart already knows what it longs for.
If you have not, then simply tell God you are ready.
The enemy wants delay.
God wants today.
Oh, how God loves us ❤️
Dear Father, God, in heaven,
I come before You with an open heart.
Father, I pray that every person reading this message today will lay down every doubt, every fear, and every belief that has kept them distant.
Father, I thank You for being faithful even when we have wandered.
I thank You for loving us long before we ever knew how to love You.
Draw near to us today, Father, and let Your presence fill the quiet places of our lives.
Wash away the heaviness of guilt, the weight of shame, and the lies that say we are unworthy.
Teach us to come boldly to Your throne.
Teach us to trust Your mercy.
Teach us to rest in the finished work of Your Son, Jesus.
Father, may we boldly say, we are ready to encounter You.
Father, meet us in this moment.
Renew us, restore us, and remind us that You have never left.
In Your Son, Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
Have a blessed day
God loves you ❤️
and so do I ❤️
