“The Call That Began With God’s Heart”

Moses’ calling began with – God seeing, God hearing, and God remembering His covenant with His people.

Before Moses ever spoke a word, God revealed His compassion:
“I have surely seen the affliction of My people… I have heard their cry… and I know their sorrows.”
(Exodus 3)

The calling of Moses was first a revelation of God’s heart. Because God is a God who draws near, who remembers His promises, and who chooses humble vessels to carry out His will.

Moses was not seeking God when he found the burning bush. God sought Moses.

Before God sent Moses to Pharaoh, He told him to remove his sandals.
A reminder that every calling begins with holy ground and worship.

God did not simply give Moses instructions. God called Moses to walk with Him. He gave Moses Himself.

Scripture tells us that Moses spoke with God “face to face, as a man speaks to his friend.” (Exodus 33:11)

This was the core of Moses calling.
A relationship  with God before responsibility.

Moses felt unqualified, slow of speech, and fearful. But God answered:
“I will be with your mouth.”
(Exodus 4:10-11)

”Moses’ calling was not built on his ability. It was built on God’s presence.

Moses was chosen to confront Pharaoh, shepherd Israel, and guide them toward freedom. But the deliverance was God’s work. Moses was simply the vessel.
And Moses calling required courage, obedience, perseverance, and trust.

After the parting of the Red Sea, Moses became the teacher of Israel.
And through Moses came the law, the tabernacle pattern, the covenant instructions, and the rhythms of worship.

Moses’ calling was not only to lead Israel out of Egypt, but to lead them into fellowship.

God had called Moses to walk closely with Him, obey His voice, and lead Israel into freedom and worship.
Everything Moses did – every miracle, every confrontation, every moment of intercession, flowed from this core.

Moses’ calling should remind us that God sees us before He sends us.
God equips us before He uses us.
God walks with us as we obey Him.
And God’s calling is always rooted in His love.

We are never called alone. We are never sent alone. We are never asked to obey alone.

The God who called Moses is the same God who calls us faithfully, patiently, and with purpose.

Oh, how God loves us ❤️

Dear Father in heaven,

Thank You for the calling You placed on Moses. A calling rooted in Your compassion, Your holiness, and Your faithfulness.

Teach us Father, to walk with You as Moses did, with humility and reverence.

Help us to listen for Your voice, trust Your presence, and obey Your leading.

Where we feel weak, be our strength.
Where we feel unsure, be our confidence.

Let our lives reflect Your heart, Your truth, and Your glory.

Lead us, Father, and make us faithful in all You entrust to us.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Have a blessed day
God loves you ❤️
and so do I ❤️
