“I keep my eyes on the unseen.
I choose faith.”

Faith is not a feeling. It is a focus. It is the steady gaze of the soul toward the eternal, even when the temporal screams for attention.

2 Corinthians 4:18
“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”

Hebrews 11:1
“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”

Romans 8:24-25
“For in this hope we were saved.
But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.”

Colossians 3:2
“Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.”

Paul reminds us that the visible world is fleeting but the invisible realm of God’s promises is everlasting.

Hebrews echoes this truth. Faith is the anchor in the unseen, the assurance that what God has spoken will come to pass.

In a world obsessed with what can be measured, posted, or proven. Faith dares to believe in what can not be seen.
It is the quiet trust that God is working behind the scenes, even when our circumstances say otherwise.

(Here’s  a little story that I hope touches your heart.)
There was a woman named Grace who had battled cancer for years. The treatments wore her body down, and the prognosis grew dim. Yet every morning, she would sit by her window, with her Bible open, and her eyes lifted up toward heaven.

When asked how she remained so hopeful, she said, “I see beyond the hospital walls.
I see my Father in heaven, my God. I see eternity. And I see healing, not just of my body, but of my soul.”

One day, her granddaughter asked, “Grandma, aren’t you scared?”
Grace smiled and replied, “Sweetheart, I have learned that fear lives in the visible.
But faith lives in the invisible. And I choose to live by faith.”

Grace passed away peacefully, her Bible was still open to 2 Corinthians 4.
Her life became a testimony, not of survival, but of surrender. She taught her family that the greatest victories are often unseen.

Oh, how God loves us ❤️

Dear Father in heaven,

I thank You for the gift of faith. A faith that sees beyond the temporary and holds fast to the eternal.

Father, teach us to fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on You, the Author and Finisher of our faith.

Strengthen our hearts when the visible world feels overwhelming.

Remind us that Your promises are true, even when we can not yet see their fulfillment.

For everyone reading this today, I pray for renewed vision, eyes that see the unseen, hearts that trust Your Word, and spirits anchored in eternal hope.

May we walk by faith, not by sight, and live lives that reflect Your glory.

In Your Son’s precious name,
Amen.

Have a blessed day
God loves you ❤️
and so do I ❤️
