“Looking With Our Eyes Open”
As we look at what is happening across the world right now – the unrest and fires in France, the threats being made across Europe and here in the States, and all the pain in places like Venezuela – we have to be honest with ourselves. We have blind eyes and deaf ears if we truly believe this is just about schools, students, and teachers or anything else.
Because what we are witnessing is deeper than that. The enemy is at work in this world, pushing evil, stoking division, and trying to finish what he came to do.
(He is nothing but pure evil.)
The Bible warned us that in the end times, hearts would wax cold, nation would rise against nation, and even families would turn against one another.
We are watching labor pains increase right in front of us, and prophecy is unfolding day by day. None of us are exempt from what is happening around us.
That is why it is time to wake up. It is time to stop sleeping through what is going on and get ourselves right with God our Father.
When the world feels scary, sad, and shaken, our call is not to panic, but to draw near to our Father as we never have before. We need to be praying for mercy, for protection over our families, and for the people who do not even understand what they are doing. Let us keep our spiritual eyes wide open, stand firm in faith, and look to heaven.
Dear Father in heaven,
You are the One true God, the Almighty Creator of heaven and earth. I come before You today knowing that You know everything happening across our world, and nothing is hidden from Your sight.
Father, all of us see the unrest, the threats, and the evil working to tear communities and nations apart.
Father, I pray that You open the eyes of those who are blind to what is really going on and unstop the ears of those who can not hear. Wake us up, Father, and help us not to be caught sleeping.
Father, I ask for Your mercy and Your divine protection over our homes, our children, and our loved ones.
Forgive us our shortcomings, search our hearts, and keep our love from waxing cold.
Help us to draw close to You every single day, to put on Your full armor, and to stand strong against the schemes of the enemy.
Father, I pray for those who are lost and do not understand the spiritual battle around them. Father, show them mercy, grant repentance, and guide our steps as we watch and wait.
In Jesus name, Amen.
Have a blessed day
God loves you ❤️
