“Psalm 118:24”
This is the day the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”
Psalm 118:24
Every day is more than a date on the calendar.
It is a divine appointment.
God does not simply allow days to unfold. He authors them.
This verse is not a call to pretend everything is easy.
It is an invitation to anchor our joy in the unchanging character of God rather than the shifting circumstances around us.
Psalm 118 is a victory song sung after pressure, enemies, and near‑disaster.
It is a declaration that God’s presence is greater than any threat, and His faithfulness outlasts every storm.
So when we say,
“This is the day the LORD has made,”
we are choosing to see the day through God’s sovereignty, not our feelings.
And when we say,
“We will rejoice,”
we are choosing trust over fear, gratitude over heaviness, and worship over worry.
The day may bring challenges, but it also brings fresh mercy, new strength, and the assurance that God has already gone ahead of us.
Joy then becomes an act of faith, a way of saying,
“Father, I trust You with what I see, and with what I do not see.”
Oh, how God loves us ❤️
Dear Father in heaven,
Thank You for this day You have crafted with purpose and care.
Teach our hearts to rejoice not because everything is simple, but because You are sovereign, faithful, and near.
Help us walk through this day with gratitude, courage, and expectation.
Let our joy be rooted in who You are, not in what we face.
May we receive this day as a gift from Your hand, and I choose to trust You in every step.
In Your Son’s precious name, Amen.
Have a blessed day
God loves you ❤️
and so do I ❤️
