“There Remains A Rest”
Hebrews 4:11-14
11 Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience.
12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.
Oh, how God loves us ❤️
Dear Father in heaven,
Thank You for the rest that still remains for Your people.
Thank You that through Your Son, Jesus, our High Priest, we can come boldly, honestly, and without fear before Your throne.
As this Sabbath begins, quiet our spirits and draw us into the peace You promised.
Let Your living Word search us, cleanse us, and steady us.
Keep our hearts soft, obedient, and anchored in Your love.
Cover our homes, our families, and every weary place within us with Your presence.
May we hold fast to our confession today, You are faithful, You are good, and You are near.
In Your Son’s precious name, Amen.”
My Sweet Family and Friends,
May the peace of God settle over you like a gentle covering. May His Word continue to search, steady, and strengthen each of your hearts. May God’s love quiet every fear and lift every burden. May our High Priest, Jesus Christ who intercedes for us keep you in His perfect rest. And may this Sabbath refresh your spirit, renew your hope, and remind you that you are deeply held and deeply loved.
Shabbat shalom,
Love you guys ❤️
