“Prayer for a Shaken World”
Today my heart is heavy for more than my own family and friends.
This prayer is for every soul across the world.
For those who boldly share the Word of God and face ridicule, persecution, and even death for standing in truth.
For the innocent whose lives are being taken or destroyed by confusion, corruption, and authority that has lost its way.
For leaders and governments who justify what God calls unjust.
For a world drifting into darkness while calling it light.
We are watching the enemy do exactly what Jesus warned us he would do.
Kill, steal, and destroy.
We are being divided on every side by belief, by color, by politics, by pride.
Hearts are growing cold.
Families are turning on each other. Love is fading.
And while the world argues, Jesus is coming back.
My heart breaks not only for those who reject God’s WORD, but for those who say they believe yet are not prepared. For those whose actions, words, and priorities reveal hearts far from readiness.
Just as in the days of Noah, many will be caught off guard, crying out for help that will not come.
So today, I pray.
Dear Father in heaven,
Have mercy on this world.
Strengthen those who stand for Your Truth, even when it costs them everything.
Protect the innocent who suffer under confusion, violence, and injustice.
Correct the hearts of leaders who have lost sight of righteousness.
Expose what is evil.
Uphold what is good.
Wake us up, Father.
Pull us out of distraction, gossip, fear, and the noise that blinds us to Your Son’s return.
Bring us to repentance, recovery, and rediscovery of Your Truth.
Renew our minds. Soften our hearts. Restore our love for what is right, just, and pure.
Prepare us for the return of Your Son.
Make us faithful. Make us watchful, and make us ready.
In Your Son’s precious name, Amen.
