This is something I have touched on before but it has been heavy on my heart so I would like to share a little more.

“A Call to Return — While There Is Still Time”

When we look at the world, at our families, at the people we love, something inside us aches.

We see confusion, distraction, brokenness, and people searching for meaning in all the wrong places.

Yet, besides finding God, nothing else should really matter.

Time is so precious and every soul matters to God.

God’s heart has always been to bring His people back.

Throughout Scripture, God continually calls His people to return to Him:
Malachi 3:7
“Return to Me, and I will return to you,” says the LORD.

Isaiah 55:6
“Seek the LORD while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near”

Hebrews 3:15
“Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts”

These verses remind us that God is not distant.
He is near, calling, inviting, longing for His children to come home.

This matters for our families and friends, and even strangers, because every person we love, and the ones we may not even know are fighting a battle we may not be able to see.

Some are tired. Some are discouraged. Some are drifting. Some are searching for something real. Some are trying to get their lives right with God but feel pulled back into old patterns. And some are  just beginning to walk towards God when life hits them hard.

These moments break our hearts, but they also remind us why we pray, why we speak truth, and why we keep shining the light.

Because God still reaches into broken places
even when people fall, wander, or lose their way, God does not give up on them.

He restores them.
He rebuilds them. He rescues them. He softens their hearts. And He brings the prodigals home.

Sometimes the greatest turning points come from the deepest breaking points.

We can not force anyone to choose God but we can
pray for them. We can speak truth with love.
We can live in a way that reflects Christ when ever they see us. We can show mercy and grace. We can
keep our hearts tender.
We can stand in the gap for our families and friends.
We can shine the light in this dark world.

This is the nvitation of a life time.

Come back to God.
Come back to Truth.
Come back to peace.
Come back to the One who has never stopped loving us.

Not tomorrow.
Not “when life settles down.”
Not “when things get better.”  But Today!

Because today is the only day we are promised.

Oh, how God loves us…

Dear Father in heaven,

I come before You with a grateful heart for this day that You have given us.

Thank You for life, for breath, for our homes, our families, and every blessing You have placed in our hands.

Thank You for Your mercy that met us this morning and Your faithfulness that carries us through every hour.

Father, may each of us lift up our families and friends to You.

Father, touch their hearts.

Guide their steps.

Protect their homes.

Strengthen their health.

Draw them closer to You.

Let Your peace rest on them.

Let  Your joy fill them, and let Your Truth lead them.

For those who are searching, reveal Yourself.

For those who are hurting, heal them.

For those who are drifting, call them back.

For those who are fighting battles, give them victory.

For those who feel unworthy, remind them of Your love.

Help us all to walk in kindness, mercy, and grace.
Let the light of Christ shine through everything we do today.

And may this day be a day of turning, a day of awakening, a day of returning to You.

In Your Son’s precious name, Amen.

Have a blessed day
God loves you and so do I
