“We shall see Him as He is”

As the sun rises and sets each day, it marks more than the passing of time.
It whispers of God’s steadfastness, love, and grace.

And, as I continue to study the scriptures the Holy Spirit gives me eyes to see Jesus…the image of the invisible God.

Colossians 1:15
The Son is the image of the invisible God..

Yet even with my vision cleared by the Spirit, as I grow in knowledge through scriptures, I can still only see glimpses of God’s infinite immensity on this side of eternity.

When my time in this life is done or when Jesus returns only then will I see Him clearly.

1 Corinthians 13:12
For now, we see only a reflection, as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face.
Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

How beautiful, we will not need special glasses in that joy-filled moment when we see Jesus face to face and truly know Him as He knows us.

The Holy Spirit shall infuse us with the faith, the hope, and the love we need to stand firm, until we gaze into the eyes of our loving, living, Savior and say, “I can see You.”

So today, I want to pause and thank God not only for the blessings I see.
My loved ones, our daily provision, and the beauty of creation, but for the gift that surpasses all:

The sacrifice of Jesus, God’s Son, through whom our sins are covered and our hearts made new.

How incredible to know that when God looks upon us, He does not see our failures, but His Son’s righteousness.

Through Jesus, we are not just forgiven, we are welcomed, embraced, and promised an eternal dwelling in God’s presence.

John 3:16
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

Now we can rest in that Truth. And we can rejoice knowing that one day, we will see our King face to face and discover the fullness of the plans God has lovingly woven for us since creation.

Oh, how God loves us ❤️

Dear Father in heaven,

Thank You for this beautiful Sunday  afternoon that echoes of Your renewing mercy.

Thank You for my  family and friends, and for every sunrise that reminds us of Your faithfulness.

May each of us praise You for meeting our every need, but most of all, may we thank You for Your love so deep that You gave Your only Son to take our place.

Father, I am humbled to know our sins are covered in His blood, and that through Jesus, we are made whole.

May Your hope anchor our hearts until the day we see Your Son returning in the clouds.

Father, keep us walking in Your purpose, rejoicing in Your grace, and longing for the fulfillment of Your eternal plans for us.

In Your Son’s precious name,
Amen.

Have a blessed day 🙏
God loves you ❤️
and so do I ❤️
