By request “BEING BORN AGAIN”
We do not need to belong to or be part of a Church to be Born Again. The church is not a place; it is the people. The doorway into salvation is through confessing, believing, repentance, baptism, & obedience. None of these require a church building. But all of these require a willing heart.
WE ARE THE CHURCH…
Hebrews 10:24-25- And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaken the assembling of ourselves together…(This scripture emphasizes the importance of the church, which is the people gathering together, not the building they gathered in.)
Matthew 16:18- I will build My church, and the gates of hades will not over come it.(The church Jesus is speaking of is not a moment on the weekend in a building. It is a movement that not even hell itself can slow down.)
Matthew 18:20- For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them. (We are the church when we gather, not where we gather.)
SALVATION is personal…Romans 10:13- For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Early believers were saved in homes, on roads, by rivers, in prisons, and in quiet places. No altar call. No sanctuary. No pastor standing by. Because the Lord Himself is the One who saves.
BEING BORN AGAIN…1ST CONFESSION…
Romans 10:9- If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 1 John 4:15- Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.
2ND BELIEVE…
BELIEVE JESUS IS LORD, THE SON OF GOD. John 20:31- but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.
Jesus asked, who do you say that I am…
Matthew 16:15- 17- He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.
BELIEVE JESUS DIED ON THE CROSS FOR OUR SINS. 1st Corinthians 15:3- For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
1 John 2:2- And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.
BELIEVE GOD RAISED JESUS FROM THE DEAD. Galatians 1:1- Paul, an apostle (not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father who raised Him from the dead),
Acts 2:24- whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it.
1 Peter 1:21- who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.
BELIEVE SALVATION IS A GIFT, RECEIVED THROUGH FAITH, NOT WORKS.
Ephesians 2:8-9- For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.
Romans 6:23- For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
3RD REPENTANCE… 2 Corinthians 7:10- For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted;
2 Peter 3:9- The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
1 John 1:9- If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
4TH BAPTISM… John 3:5- Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
Acts 2:38- Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
5TH OBEDIENCE…1 Peter 1:14-15- as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,
1 John 3:9-10- Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.
Romans 6:4- Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
NOW we walk in His Word. This is how our relationship grows.The Holy Spirit begins to work in us. Our hearts become softer.
We begin to understand Scriptures. We feel convicted over sin. Our obedience becomes our strength. We are drawn towards fellowship. Our faith produces fruit. And we begin to recognize the voice of God. This is the beginning of the rest of our life. A building may gather believers. But we are saved when we call on Him wherever we are. There we are Born Again.

Dear Father in heaven,
I come before You with a repentant heart.
I believe Your Son, Jesus, is the Christ. The One You sent to save us. I confess Him as my Lord and my Savior. He washed me, forgave me, and made me Yours.
Continue to show me when I am not walking in Your commandments and continue to teach me to follow Your Truth every day. Father, I give this day, I give You my life. In Jesus’ name, amen. Have a blessed day,God loves you and so do I ❤️
