This is a repeat study… but it is also where my thoughts have been all night.
“Where Is Jesus Today”
According to Scripture Jesus is at the right hand of God. This is the most repeated truth in the New Testament about His present position.
Mark 16:19
He “sat on the right hand of God.”
Acts 2:33
“By the right hand of God exalted.”
Romans 8:34
“At the right hand of God… making intercession for us.”
Colossians 3:1
“Christ sits at the right hand of God.”
Hebrews 10:12
“He… sat down at the right hand of God.”
And Jesus said:
John 20:17
“I ascend to My Father and your Father, to My God and your God.”
This is where He is – exalted, enthroned, and alive forevermore.
Scripture says Jesus is interceding for us
even now, in this very moment, He is ministering on our behalf.
Hebrews 7:25
“He ever lives to make intercession for them.”
Hebrews 4:14–16
Our “great High Priest… passed into the heavens.”
1 John 2:1
“We have an Advocate with the Father..
He is, Jesus Christ the righteous.”
Jesus is active, attentive, and pleading our cause before our Father. And Jesus is preparing for His return. He is preparing the Kingdom and preparing a place for His people.
John 14:2–3
“I go to prepare a place for you… I will come again.”
Hebrews 9:28
He will appear “a second time… unto salvation.”
Acts 1:11
“This same Jesus… shall so come in like manner.”
He waits for His Father’s command.
Matthew 24:36
“Of that day and hour knows no man… but My Father only.”
The moment will come when God says it is time… and Scripture tells us exactly what happens.
1 Thessalonians 4:16–17
The dead in Christ rise first… then we who remain are caught up to meet Him in the clouds.
1 Corinthians 15:52
“In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye.”
And then:
1 Thessalonians 4:17
“So shall we ever be with the Lord.”
Are we ready to meet our King and High Priest, our Messiah, the only begotten Son of God? Have we prepared our hearts and our lives to be holy and acceptable before Him? Are we ready to give an account for every careless word, every cruel moment, and every wrong we have done?
On that day, when we stand face to face with Him, “yeah, but…” will carry no weight.
Excuses will fall silent and only truth will stand. Today while we live, breathe, and have the chance to turn, repent, grow, and walk uprightly this is the time to show ourselves approved before God. My heart longs to hear my King say, “Well done.”
Oh, how God loves us that He gave His Only begotten Son that who so ever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. ❤️
Dear Father in Heaven,
Thank You for revealing through Your Word where Jesus is today, seated at Your right hand, interceding for us, preparing for the day You say, “It is time.”
Let this truth settle deeply into our hearts.
Search us, Father. Show us anything in our walk that is not ready for Your Son’s appearing.
Teach us to live each day with clean hands, a steady spirit, and a heart that longs for Your Kingdom.
Make us faithful, watchful, and surrendered, so that when that Trumpet sounds, we will rise with joy and not with fear.
In the name of Jesus our King and High Priest. Amen.
Have a blessed day
God loves you ❤️
and so do I ❤️
