“Hand Crafted By God”
Every sunset is a reminder that God is still writing our story. Today is not random or wasted. It is handcrafted by our God. Even if the day feels heavy, we can choose joy because our Father who made it walks with us through it. We rejoice not because everything is perfect, but because God is present.
Scripture tells us:
“This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24)
The psalmist was not rejoicing because everything was perfect.
He rejoiced because God was present.
That truth still holds. We do not rejoice because our circumstances are smooth.
We rejoice because our God is faithful.
We do rejoice because the path is easy. We rejoice because our God is near.
Every sunset should be a gentle reminder:
God carried us through this day. God is already preparing our tomorrow.
And God is still writing our story with purpose, mercy, and love.
Dear Father in heaven,
Thank You for the quiet reminders You place in each day, especially the ones wrapped in the colors of a sunset.
Teach our heart to rest in the truth that You are present, even when the day feels heavy.
Help us choose joy, not because everything is perfect, but because You are faithful.
Write our story according to Your wisdom, and steady our steps according to Your peace.
May we place this day, and the ones to come, in Your hands.
