Signs in the Sky…
Joel 2:30-31
“And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and awesome day of the Lord.”
From the beginning, God has used the heavens to speak.
The stars guided wise men to the Messiah’s birth.
The sun darkened at His Son’s crucifiction.
And now, as we approach the final chapters of this age, the skies continue to declare His glory and His warnings.
Heres some of the signs and wonnders we see today..
*Auroras (Northern Lights):
Once rare, now seen in unusual places, like a celestial curtain of color reminding us of His majesty.
*Blood Moons and Eclipses: Echoing Joel’s prophecy, these events stir hearts and awaken watchers.
*Meteor Showers and Falling Stars: Reminders of Revelation 6:13, where stars fall like figs shaken from a tree.
*Double Rainbows:
Symbols of covenant and mercy, even in turbulent times.
*Unusual cloud formations, halos around the sun, and planetary alignments:
All whispering, “Look up, your redemption draws near.”
These signs are not random.
They are part of a divine tapestry, woven with purpose and precision. They stir awe, but also urgency.
But there is a beauty in the storm.
Yes, these end times bring us sobering realities, tribulation, deception, and spiritual warfare.
But we are not called to fear.
We are called to watch, pray, and rejoice. For we know the ending:
*Jesus returns in glory, riding the clouds. (Matthew 24:30).
*Satan is defeated, cast down forever. (Revelation 20:10).
*The New Jerusalem descends, radiant and pure. (Revelation 21:2).
*No more death, sorrow, or pain, only eternal communion with our King. (Revelation 21:4).
So when the skies blaze with color or tremble with signs, let your heart not be troubled. Let it be stirred to worship.
These wonders are not just warnings, they are invitations to hope.
Oh, how God loves us ❤️
Dear Father in heaven,
Thank You for the signs You place in the heavens.
Reminders that Your Word is true and Your promises are sure.
As we witness wonders in the sky and feel the trembling of creation..
Please anchor our hearts in Your peace.
Let us not be shaken by fear, but awakened by faith.
Help us, Father, to rejoice in the beauty You display, even in the midst of storms.
Teach us, Father, to pray with urgency, to love with purity, and to wait with expectancy.
May we be found watching, worshiping, and ready when Your Son, our King returns.
May we be longing for the day when sorrow is silenced, death is defeated, and we dwell with You and Your Son forever.
Until then, let every rainbow, every eclipse, every falling star remind us that You are near.
