“Just A Touch”
Sometimes I say, “Dear God, I need You, and if its only a touch. I know that will do.”
Luke 8:46
But Jesus said, “Somebody has touched Me, for I perceive power going out from me.”
There are moments in my life when I come to the end of myself. Where I have tried everything, doctors, advice, distractions, even denial, and still the pain lingers.
Whether it is a physical illness, emotional wounds, or spiritual dryness, I reach a point where I realize, I need a touch from God.
What I forget is that God has already made a way.
He sent His Son, Jesus, not only to save us but to heal us.
Scripture tells us that Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed. This is what it says at –
Acts 10:38
how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
That same power still flows today, not from garments or rituals, but from the heart of a loving God who sees us, knows us, and desires to make us whole.
God wants us to pursue Him, not just for what He can do, but for who He is.
When we reach out in faith, He will respond.
Sometimes we stop short.
We get discouraged by the crowd, the delay, and the weight of our weakness.
But faith presses on.
Faith says, “If I can just touch Him…”
Not because we deserve it, but because we believe He is able.
And when we truly reach for God through His Son, Jesus with our whole heart, something happens.
Healing flows, peace returns, and hope rises.
We might come to Him broken, but we leave changed.
Because when God touches our life, He does not just fix the surface.
He restores the soul.

I will fix my faith on God.
He is my Healer. He is still the Answer.
And He is still moved by our faith.
Oh, how God loves us ❤️
Dear Father in heaven,
You are the God who heals yesterday, today, and forever.
You saw our need and sent Your Son, Jesus, full of compassion and power.
Today, Father, may we reach out in faith, not just for a miracle, but for You.
Touch every heart reading this today.
Heal the sick. Mend the broken. Restore the weary.
Let Your virtue flow into every place of pain, and let Your peace settle over every anxious soul.
Father, may we all believe that You are able.
May we believe You are willing.
And may we wait with hope, knowing that just one touch from You will change everything.
In Your Son’s precious name, Amen.
