We can not ask God to heal us while remaining loyal to the very thing that is harming us.
Our weapon is prayer, our armor is the word of God, and our strength is found in Him.
We can not ask God to heal what we keep protecting. We can not ask God to deliver us from what we keep returning to.
We can not ask God to break chains we still call “comfort.”
Healing is not passive. It is surrender.
Choosing truth over comfort, obedience over emotion, and freedom over letting go of what has been slowly destroying us.
Scripture speaks plainly:
Hebrews 12:1
Wherefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us.
And let us run with endurance the race which is Saturday before us,
** (Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us.)
Joshua 24:15
And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, Choose for yourself this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in who’s land you dwell. But as for me and my house we will serve the LORD.
**(Choose for yourself this day whom you will serve.)
James 4:7
Therfore submit to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
We can not hold God with one hand and hold bondage with the other.
Healing begins where surrender begins.
When we release what harms us, God fills the empty place with His peace, His presence, and His healing.
Oh, how God loves us ❤️
Dear Father in heaven,
I come before You with open hands and a open heart.
Show us anything we have been holding onto that is harming us, hindering us, or keeping us from the healing You desire for our lives.
Give us the courage to release what You never meant for us to carry.
Strengthen us through Your Word, steady us through Your Spirit, and teach us to walk in the freedom Your Son, Christ Jesus purchased for us.
May we choose You, Father, Your truth, Your ways, and Your healing.
In Your Son’s precious name, amen.
Have a blessed evening
God loves you ❤️
and so do I ❤️
