“God’s Glory”

There is a great verse in Psalm 19: that reads, “How clearly the sky reveals God’s glory … no speech or words are used, no sound is heard; yet the message goes out to all the world and is heard to the ends of the earth.”

This is a verse Christian’s sometimes quote when they see a beautiful sunrise or a magnificent night sky.

Our life is supposed to send the same message, one that reveals the glory of God.

In several places throughout the Bible, we are told to love God with all our soul.

That word “soul” also means – life or our inner person? So this phrase means we are to love God with our whole being.
To love God with all that we are.

We do not love Him for one hour each week at church or when we need something. It means loving Him with the core of our being every minute of every day.

Our life should be lived in such a way that even if no speech or sound was heard from us, the message of our life would glorify God and be heard to the ends of the earth.

Every day, we have the opportunity to share our faith with the people we come into contact with. Sometimes we get to do this with words … But what do they hear or see when we are silent?

Psalm 19:1-4
The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims His handiwork.
Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge.
There is no speech, nor are there words, whose voice is not heard.
Their voice goes out through all the earth  and their words to the end of the world.

(There is no voice or words we hear from the day or the night. Yet they both declare God’s glory.)

Jesus said in Matthew 5:16
“Let your life shine before others, that they may see your good deeds, and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Jesus did not say hear your good words… But see your good deeds…

May our soul, like the sky, declare God’s glory to the ends of the earth!!

Oh, how God loves us ❤️

Dear Father in heaven,

Thank You for my family and friends.

Thank You for the beauty of the heavens that silently proclaim Your majesty.

Father, help us to live in such a way that our lives, even without words, reveal Your glory.

Teach us to love You with all our soul.
With every breath, with every thought, and every action.

Let our kindness reflect Your compassion. Let our patience mirror Your grace.
Let our integrity shine with Your Truth.

When we are silent, let our lives still speak.

May those around us see You in us.
Not just in what we say, but in how we live.

Use us, Father, as a living testimony of Your love. So, that Your message may go out through all the earth, and Your name be glorified to the ends of the world.

In Your Son’s precious name, Amen.

Have a blessed day
God loves you ❤️
and so do I ❤️
