The last few days I have been going over old studys and devotionals and re-shareing them. This one is from 2024.

“Worry”

Worrying gives us just another opportunity to trust God.

When we worry our minds get an unnecessary workout.

*We run through all the possible outcomes of our situation.

*We jump to conclusions even before we have all the facts.

*We weigh ourselves down with all the what if’s…

Worry leads to fear and stress instead of trust and rest.

Our worries do not change the charector of God, but grasping God’s charector can change how we handle our worries.

God knows what is going on in our lives and He cares about our situation.

We forget how much He loves us.

Worry steals our peace and our joy.
But God gives both peace and joy abundantly.

Psalm 34:4
I sought the LORD and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

Psalm 56:3
Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.

1Peter 5:7
Casting all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you.

Phillipihians 4:6-7
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Oh, how God loves us ❤️

Dear Father in heaven,
Thank You for this beautiful Tuesday morning.

Thank You for supplying all our needs, and watching over us.

Thank You for this opportunity to share Your word with my family and friends and pray with them.

I pray that they each know You are with them and they can call on You at any given moment and You will hear them.

Father, thank You for careing about us and for loving us.

Thank You for understanding our worries.

Thank You for forgiving us when we struggle with avoidance and seek to control our own worries.

Help us to release all our worries to You.

Help us to trust in You in all situations.

Be with us today, watch over us, protect us, and guide us in the ways that are right and acceptable to You.

May Your face shine upon us, and Your love fill our hearts.

In Your Son’s precious name. Amen

Have a blessed day
God loves you ❤️
and so do I ❤️
